Ha... Just riding around on my 230F in the 250D class main event. Hey I finished 10th out of 15. Not to shabby for a 230F that's not even remotely designed for a motocross track. Got to start somewhere. LOL... Definitely upgrading to a 250.

race what you got right? ok, it is a 230f and that's not competitive with the bikes you were racing against. so, you'll have to beat them with skill. work on your cornering. the 230f can corner well so work on racing to the corner, through the corner and exiting the corner. corner speed in a race like that will help tremendously. also, those jumps you are coming up just a bit short and you likely have a enough run up to them to clear them which will be easier on the suspension and you then flat landing the table. good job. keep it up and you'll get a top five finish! ;-)

I agree totally! Hey, I was just glad to get out and have some fun and enjoy myself. With the 230 basically being what it is, I get a little spooked when jumping due to the front end. I have installed the BBR springs and Race Tech emulators and believe me it helped out alot. But still a little gun shy when it comes to jumping which the 230 was not even designed for. It's not the jumping, it's the landing that hurts. LOL... But I greatly appreciate the advice! Also when I come out of a corner and get on the gas it does bog and cut out on me for a second. But I know that's another issue to be addressed in another thread.

Thanks Edge. It was fun just to give it a try one time. I'm 36... I should have rode the 30+ LOL... I felt like 40+ after that. Whole lot different than the woods riding I'm use to here in the mountains of East Tennessee. But it was fun.

Hey man that was pretty cool! I love how on the 450's you can just roll the throttle a little and put the power to the ground and jump like that. Just kinda like a Sunday afternoon stroll. No loud revving of the engine just a little throttle and holding your momentum. Good job man.
