If the hose to the top of the radiator goes to the head and the bottom hose goes to the bottom of the barrel, then flow is from bottom to top. Hence they all flow out of the holes you see in the picture. Either that or if hoses are reveserved the flow is the other way. I believe the first scenario is done with most engines. If it goes top to bottom through the engine they are called reverse flow systems.

hi Ray one more question..do you know if this channel with little port is a cooling or oil channel (foto) and why does it go into the stud hole?

The long slotted area is for oil flow.

I thought it would be oil and the overall view gave the close ups better context.
Also good you worked some of this out yourself as it helps you understand how your motor works.
Make sense to use a stud hole as saves having to drill another hole or provide an external oil line. Nice colour on the crank.

Sorry Ray , did not get a chance to post because i have been gone since Monday , just got back home tonight , had some Dr. stuff to take care of (nothing major just more fun tests from gastric issues i am still having from the surgery last Sept) .... but you and Neil seemed to have covered everything , and the OP seemed to figure some things out on his own as well , so all is good ..... ;)

Hopefully , tomorrow i finally get my shock back together that has been sitting on the bench in pieces for the last 5 months since surgery , last weeks CT Scan was all clear for cancer , so far so good , 5 months and counting ...... [-oo , this week was a Colonoscopy AND a Endoscopy at the same time .... talk about a fun time .... :-~ , that was my Valentines Day present to myself (with the help of my Dr's orders ) , got it from both ends , but all the nurses did sign and give me a Valentines Day Card .... :-#  8-[
