Does anybody know what it should be gapped at or do they come pre-gapped?

When I look at the Part Finder and look up model CRF80F it says CR6HIX for 2004-2006 but other post and forums mention or sell a CR7HIX for the CRF80.
I wonder what the difference is?

    CR7HIX - CR6HIX = ???

The CR's cancel themselves out...The HIX's cancel themselves out too...so basically what you have is 7 - 6.

    The answer is 1...

Would it be better with a hotter plug?

Update on the NGK Iridiums that I used this summer. For some reason both plugs fouled giving me bad starting issues. The first plug had to be replaced after a hard afternoon of riding WFO and then it needed to be replaced with a new one because the bike would not fire back up. This time the symptom was the same but this time it seemed like it was flooding or overly rich. It would almost start a few times with the choke but would sometimes backfire when kicking it over or would bog or die when it would start when I would give it some throttle. The plug would show good spark but was very wet when I would take it out to inspect it. I picked up a couple of NGK CR7HSA plugs and a new plug started that puppy right up again with no problems.
