Tried a 45 pilot first and was still too lean (Popping on decel)
Tried a 132 main first and was too rich on top (Flattened out)

I am now using Mike Coe's dyno jetting recommendations and it is worlds better and as fast as my buddy's XR250! For those of you still running a 132 main, you're missing out on 1.8 HP, and that's about an 11% gain. Here is an excerpt from Mike's dyno work"

"It was worth more than 1.5 HP!! With the 132 the A/F mixture was @ 11.0:1 and the power would level out at 16HP. After going down to a 125 and then the 120, the engine pulled cleanly all the way to the rev limiter and 17.83HP. This was on a bone stock 230 with "power-up" mods. I could have gone even leaner and picked up a little more power, but decided to stay a little conservative."

The dirt dragstrip proved beyond any doubt this setup far outperforms the "Power-Up" setup.

Thanks for the post Socrates! Living in the same town, and having like mods, I'm going to give your jetting configuration a shot on my '05.

    Cheers, Lance
